Our cabin retreat is tucked away amongst tall White Fir trees 6 miles Northwest of Halfway, Oregon. Fishing for pan-sized trout is only steps away in beautiful Pine Creek. Local wildlife abound right in our own backyard. Mule Deer, White Tail Deer, Elk, Turkeys, Grouse and even the elusive white rabbit (our mascot) can be seen from the large front deck--if you’re lucky!
For the historical ghost town lover, the old mining town of Cornucopia is only a short 5 miles away. Rugged breathtaking Hell’s Canyon is a must to see. Soaring Bald Eagles to sturgeon grace this, the deepest canyon in North America, along with steelhead, bass, catfish, crappie and more.
There are lots of outdoor activities in the area, such as snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, Nordic skiing, dirt biking, mountain biking, four wheeling and hiking. Snowmobilers can take off right from the cabin onto groomed trails.
Steelhead
fishing is terrific at Hell’s Canyon along with Jet Boat rides
and maybe even an adrenaline rush over Wild Sheep Rapids courtesy of local white
water outfitters. It’s an experience that will stay with you forever!
Perhaps, just a Romantic Getaway!
